A bless'd antique beauty sparkling with the warm fire of old Rubies and Diamonds... perfect as a unique engagement ring for today. In the English Arts style with fantastic hand carved naturalistic scrollery to the golden gallery, the old gems are hand faceted too and as bright and glowing as a heart could wish for.... the Ruby for centuries associated with the heart and LOVE. All crafted in 18ct yellow Gold. this piece was fully hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1890 and was likely made at one of the workshops in the famous jewellery quarter there (). There is a maker's mark but we've not been able to place the company.
The ring size is an 'Q' or '8' but could easily be altered to suit. Just leave a message on your order form to make her yours. We believe the Rubies are old untreated Burmese variety which are renowned for their deep 'Pidgeon blood' colouring, and the Diamonds are exquisite old hand cuts both deep and precisely faceted for a generous sparkle. They measure at around 0.40ct each judged with a Schindler gauge.
